The app can be used for calculating the area of a region in different units: square meters, square feet, acres, hectares, square km, and square miles. This area can be saved in KML (the application also has this option) or as a map image. This tool can also calculate the distance between points.
There are options for saving areas, adding notes, attaching pictures, calculating area prices, and sharing them as either a map image or a KML file. Also, there is an option for changing the map to Google Maps.
Measurements do not take into account elevation, etc. The area calculated can be used for land planning, farmland, land ownership, or calculating land taxes for a property.
